Lectors

The role of the Lector is to proclaim God’s Word during Mass. A lector proclaims the first and second readings and may also lead the Psalm and the Prayers of the Faithful at Mass (in the absence of the deacon).

The lector must believe that Sacred Scripture is the Word of God and have deep respect for God's presence in that Word.

All confirmed teens and adults are welcome.
